From Here To Tranquility is the flagship compilation series on Silent Records...having
helped to introduce new artists and further expose better known artists
to the ambient audience FHTT is now five volumes old and going strong...artists such as Space Time Continuum, Psychic TV, Single Cell Orchestra and Lightwave
are just some of the artists who have contributed rich and vital ambient
works to the series...as the series continues in 1996 we concentrate on
Silent artists only for volume V and have plans to release an all female
ambient volume in the early summer...this series is a manifestation of the
Silent mission: to seek out new ambience and help transport you to where
no listener has gone before...
